GONE NUTS Delicious Raw Organic Gluten Free Chocolatey Nuts And Superfood Macha Chocolate Cereal

IMG_5646GONE NUTS Raw & Sprouted Nut Blends are a definite recommendation for chocolate lovers. I tried three of their tasty packets – two Clusters of Cacao and one White Chocolate. Perfect for travelling, or even for desserts at home, I would share these with friends and family and children quite happily knowing that they’re as healthy as they are scrumptious. I’m thrilled to have found these because as I have dealt with my food related health issues recently, I’ve found myself feeling stress about travelling because I worry about my eating on the trip (which was why the superfood counter at Anantara Phuket Layan was SUCH a delight).
Well no more shall I need to feel any stress about travel, since SpiceBox Organics clearly has my life sorted out within their four walls and with these GONE NUTS Raw & Sprouted Nut Blends and their Red Rawnola in my suitcase I feel more secure about travelling to places where I am unfamiliar with the food.

First on the list is the Almonds Raisins, Blueberries & Coconut ‘Clusters of Cacao’ pack. Decadent and fragrant, the perfume of these deliciously rich nut blends wafted to my nose as soon as I had pulled the fresh seal from the packet.

I was pleasantly surprised by how strong the fragrance was, and how beautiful too, and the flavour echoed the impression. Strongly coated in dark chocolate, these sprouted, raw and unroasted gluten free and vegan treats are a must have for anyone with a love of raw and chocolate.

For me, this little gem of a find – recommended by the owner of Anything But Salads- would be a perfect companion for work, travel, dessert or any occasion when a treat is craved. It satiated my chocolatey wanting quite perfectly and gives a burst of sweetness which is incredibly tasty and flavourful. I would buy these, recommend them, and share them with friends anytime. However, they may be a little too heavy for a daytime snack on the run due to the dense chocolate coating, but there are many other non-chocolatey choices that are sure to be just as gorgeous as these. Thumbs up!

Next up is the ‘White Chocolate’ pack of Cashews, Almonds and Cacao Nibs. This is, in a word, exquisite. Creamy swirls of vanilla fragrance and coconut whispers blend with the smooth consistency of almonds and ground cacao nibs. This really tastes like a full dense vanilla cake of highest standards, and is a must try for anyone who loves white chocolate. I am thoroughly impressed with this treat, and while I am a dark chocolate fan myself, I will be buying it for other gluten-free, paleo and vegan friends who will thoroughly appreciate it. I did this review before I had my late breakfast and my stomach was so happy about it that it promptly decided to suck in and look all flat, taut and beautiful, which is how I can tell it’s terribly happy about something that I’ve put into it. (My belly is bizarrely communicative like that.)
Finally the brazil nut, mulberry, hemp seed & date was the strongest in flavour, with a proper kick to the berries that overpowered the chocolate. Perfect for those who like strong strong strong rich rich rich berry combos, this would be too strong for me to eat any more than a few of, unlike the other two which are much more subtle by comparison and easy to eat possibly far too many of.
But with all of these, the nuts and flavours and denseness of nutrients are so intense that they are surprisingly filling, and less than a handful – even just a few – would be enough to give a lovely dose of delicious decadence at any time of day. I will be back for more of these perfect packs of flavour. Many, many more.
Last but not least, the Superfood Cereal pot in Macha Double Chocolate.
A smooth chocolatey, oaty, cinnamony delight. Anyone who has ever liked their chocolate cereal is going to love this organic, gluten free & vegan superfood cup of oats soaked in rich chocolatey flavour. I added Flax Milk to mine, and it mixed into a beautifully creamy consistency, but I was told that it has a special mixture that will cause it to become milky smooth and creamy even with only water added.

Apparently a big hit with office folks, these are a great little breakfast in a handy serving with a spoon inside. Rich and delicious enough to have for a full meal, my belly did get a bit puffy after eating this, which it doesn’t do after eating Anything But Salad’s scrumptious Red Rawnola (which I add cacao nibs to for a chocolatey celebration). Perhaps it’s the high sugar & carbs in this joyful little cup. It was definitely worth it.

And now I must end this review because I am off to take some little sampler nut bags downstairs to my neighbour who is recently gluten free and lamenting the lack of sweet treats in their life. I love making people happy. And happy is what they shall most definitely be.
